JENNIFER SILVERMAN KITCHIN, M.D.
Jennifer Silverman Kitchin, M.D., a Board Certified dermatologist, received her medical degree from the New York University School of Medicine, where she received the Department of Dermatology award, given to one graduating medical student each year for excellence in Dermatology. Dr. Kitchin has participated in clinical dermatologic pharmacology research, and is the author of several papers and a textbook chapter in
Dermatology in General Medicine, which is held as a standard for physicians world wide.
A graduate of the University of Pennsylvania with a degree in biology, Dr. Kitchin did research at the University’s School of Medicine in cell biology. She completed her internship in Internal Medicine at Lenox Hill Hospital, and completed her dermatology residency at SUNY Downstate Medical Center, where she presented a poster at a national dermatology meeting. Dr. Kitchin has also served as a consulting editor for the best selling book,
The Pill Book, which has the honor of being on
The New York Times top ten best seller list.
Dr. Kitchin is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and a member of the New York State Medical Society. She has been in private practice since completing her residency. Dr. Kitchin is experienced in cosmetic dermatology, and has many years of experience with leg vein treatments, IPL photofacials, and other photorejuvenation
techniques. She also offers Botox and Restylane© treatments. Dr. Kitchin is very experienced with the use of photodynamic therapy for the treatment of both acne and cutaneous malignancies. In addition, Dr. Kitchin enjoys all aspects of general dermatology, dermatologic surgery, and laser surgery.
